• This vivid blue Kashmir sapphire is 75-80% tone, with moderate (MI2) clarity. The stone shows faint texture allowing very high brilliance although retaining a suttle silky texture. The stone was recut in USA to bring optimum beauty and recertified with a second Swiss laboratory. The stone holds a Gubelin 'Natural color' Kashmir origin certificate before recutting from 2.06cts as well as the current GRS (Switzerland) certificate. The dimensions remained the same before and after recutting. The 58% depth displays a large 2.25ct face.

• Viewed with microscope at 50x magnification: The identifying internal inclusions show classic zones of alternating turbity and Kashmir color. The stone contains a cluster of very small rounded zircon with comet tails visible with microscope. This stone is easily identified as Kashmir.
